Doug Alofs is a partner in the Portland law firm of Robinson Kriger & McCallum, where his practice focuses on workers' compensation defense and other areas of civil litigation. Doug is a contributing writer for COMP, the Maine Workers' Compensation Journal. He was educated at Hamilton College and received his undergraduate degree in history and psychology. Prior to attending law school, he worked for two years as a workers' compensation claims adjuster for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Portland. He received a law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center and was admitted to the Maine Bar in 1992. Doug is a member of the Maine State Bar Association. Doug lives in Scarborough with his wife and two children.
