Ben Johnson was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) in 1997 with a degree in Secondary Education, English and Communications. After teaching middle school and high school in rural Colorado, he attended the University Colorado School of Law. While attending law school, he was a Member of the University of Colorado Law Review and clerked with firms in Boulder, Colorado.
After graduating law school in 2003, Ben practiced with small firms and as a solo practitioner in Colorado and then in northern California. He moved to Maine in 2015 to be closer to his extended family and has resumed his legal practice as an attorney with Robinson, Kriger & McCallum.
Ben has considerable experience in diverse legal areas including civil litigation, real estate, construction, business, consumer law, administrative law, personal injury, estate planning, elder law and trademarks. He is an accomplished legal writer and has successfully argued motions and tried cases in both state and federal courts.
Ben strives to provide clients with friendly, personal service while helping them navigate the complexities of litigation and transactions to achieve the best possible outcomes. He is ready to dive into challenging and novel legal matters and takes pains to counsel clients from a practical standpoint.
When not working, Ben enjoys spending time with his daughter, skiing, boating, hiking and camping. He is an avid reader and dabbles in music, playing guitar and piano and singing.
