ATTORNEY BIOGRAPHY
Maeve Weggler attended The University of Maine and graduated magna cum laude in 2017 with a degree in Political Science. She then enrolled in the University of Maine’s School of Law, graduating in May of 2020.
While in law school, Maeve worked as a summer intern at the Maine Workers’ Compensation Board in Portland. During her time there, she assisted the Worker Advocates in drafting legal decrees and advocated for clients at mediations. During law school, Maeve also clerked at the Lewiston District Court, interned at a local power company, and was a student attorney with the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. Additionally, Maeve was a staff editor for the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal.
Maeve’s practice focuses on representing employers and insurance companies in Workers’ Compensation claims.
Raised in Somerset County, Maeve now lives in South Portland. Maeve enjoys spending as much time as possible with her friends and family at her family camp in the mid coast area.
